X5 mods and stuff

Well i'm making this thread because Smoka asked me too lol. So here we go. I decided to add a additional amp and a subwoofer to the X5's already decent 10 speaker HiFi system.

The back end with the spare tire removed as well as the side covers

Factory amp I had to pull out so I could tap into the LoPass speaker signals to run my LOC

LOC wires tapped into the factory amp

Amp back in place with LOC and remote 12v line

Factory rear bulkhead where I will tie in my main 12v source

12v source and Ground mounted a tight

Temporary resting place for amp, low pass crossover/booster and sub box

I plan on switching to a smaller box with a bigger sub and higher powered amp so I can maximize my space. Also will place the amp and crossover in the stock location once I make up a tray for it. But for now its installed and it thumps pretty good.

Well I had ordered black kidneys when I got the x5. They sent me the late model kidneys which were wrong. Still havent sent them back lol. So I decided to try and plasti-dip my chrome ones. Came out pretty well actually. Silly instagram pic kills the quality, but you get the idea.

next is ditching the blue/white bmw logo. I already bought new black/white ones but I found these black/black ones which I like alot better.

You mean window tint? It already has a tint on it. Anymore and i'd be hassled by the cops. I will however do the rear window and 2 side flankers at 5%. As long as I keep the front and rear doors where they are I should be ok.
